OUR APPROACH

We provide personalized strategies to help individuals and companies navigate the complexities and constant changes in U.S. immigration law.

Co-founders Erin Brummer and Melissa Bordeaux formed Veridian Immigration Partners, PLLC in 2024, after over a decade of experience exclusively practicing U.S. immigration law at large national and global firms. Together, they have guided thousands of individuals through the complex processes of employment authorization, permanent residency, and citizenship in the U.S.

OUR PARTNERS

Who We Are

Erin Brummer

Attorney & Co-Founder

Erin’s practice has focused on employment-based immigration since 2010.  She has extensive experience representing companies and individuals, spanning business and family-based immigration matters.  Her passion for helping professionals with unique skills started in a university’s Office of the General Counsel, preparing O-1 and EB-1 petitions for the institution’s professors and researchers. This expanded through her positions in large law firms, where she had the opportunity to advise Fortune 500 companies, universities, and disruptive start-ups, as well as some of the best and brightest individuals in the arts, entertainment industry, and professional sports on all aspects of employment-based immigration.  In particular, Erin’s work with fashion industry clients, media figures, and cutting-edge researchers reinforces her belief that no matter how long you practice certain skills, you are never done learning.  Being a conduit for others to tell their story and share their achievements continues to be a rewarding experience.

In addition to her emphasis on case strategy and preparation for highly skilled individuals, Erin has managed legal teams and served as the lead attorney and immigration program management partner for organizations of all sizes, spanning a wide range of industries, including but not limited to retail, finance, healthcare, biotechnology, and manufacturing. Regardless of company size or industry, Erin emphasizes stakeholder education and process improvements without sacrificing personal touch.

Erin’s expertise is sought out within the legal community.  She is a frequent lecturer with Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, and has contributed to panels, webinars, and publications for legal news services.  She has also been a member of the Boston Bar Association’s Immigration Section Steering Committee, Public Service & Policy Sub-Committee, and Boston Bar Association’s Public Interest Leadership Program. Throughout her career, Erin has served as a volunteer attorney providing pro bono representation for indigent clients, as well as hosted workshops and clinics for immigrant communities.  She earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law|Boston and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Communications from Alfred University.

Melissa Bordeaux

Attorney & Co-Founder

Melissa has more than a decade of experience representing companies and individuals in a wide range of business and family-related immigration matters. Her clients have included companies of all sizes, including large multinational corporations and emerging start-ups, as well as highly accomplished individuals in the arts, sciences, business, research, and education. For many years, she led legal teams supporting high-volume green card programs for global tech companies providing sponsorship through EB-1, NIW, and PERM. Having practiced U.S. immigration law exclusively since her admission to the Massachusetts Bar in 2012, Melissa has helped countless individuals obtain temporary employment authorization through a range of nonimmigrant visa categories, as well as permanent residency and citizenship in the United States.

Melissa routinely shares her expertise as a panelist and speaker with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.  She has served as a volunteer attorney providing pro bono representation for asylum seekers with the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project (PAIR). She has also provided pro bono representation for clients seeking disability waivers and applying for naturalization with Project Citizenship. She holds a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music.
